Greek Turkey Burgers

I had been wanting to make Greek Turkey Burgers forever, so I finally mustered up the effort to make them a little while ago and they have now earned their place on my list of favorite meals. This is a really easy, delicious and pretty healthy meal that you can easily tweak to your personal tastes.

Greek Turkey Burgers with Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients
1 package of Turkey meat (Serves 4)
1 cup crumbled feta
1 cup of plain Greek yogurt (I just used an individual serving)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dill
1 tsp parsley
1/3-1/2 cup finely chopped/minced red onion

(you can also just use Greek seasoning in place of the herbs)

Directions
1. Mixed together all of the ingredients above and form into patties
2. Either on a grill, pan, etc. cook on each side for about 5 minutes on medium or until internal temperature is about 160 degrees F
3. Put on burger and add a generous spoonful of Tzatziki Sauce.

I have not quite mastered my recipe of Tzatziki sauce yet, I just put minced onions (1-2 Tbsp), chopped cucumbers (2Tbsp) and lemon juice (~1 Tbsp) and mixed it with a individual serving of Greek yogurt. It was super tasty/quick/easy but not super authentic.

Tips/Comments
-I have made this a couple of times and I have still not mastered on how to keep the burgers together, one always falls apart on me. I have heard putting an egg in the mix helps but I have not tried that yet.

You did a great job on this. Sometimes people try to include too many flavors to turkey, but these are spot on. Tzatziki sauce is a wonderful pairing and I like the touch of dill in the burgers. Unique and tasty-well done!
